September: FRIENDS

This month we are focusing on FRIENDS, and what it means to be a good friend.

We are learning signs for: FRIEND, HELP, GIVE, SHARE, PLAY, WAIT, FUN, KIND, CLEAN-UP, TOGETHER, and MY-TURN/YOUR-TURN. [You can click on the words to see a video of how to form the sign!]

We always end our classes with “The More We Get Together,” so my clients probably know this one already!! Just in case you don’t, though, I am adding two videos of that song. The simple version is the one we do during our classes, because 2-4 year olds struggle to sign “friend” and it is a bit too challenging to add the extra signs (MY and YOUR) to that line. If you have older children, and they like a little challenge, you can try the more difficult version.
